Waiting list – Reminder

Happy New Year 2025 to all. Wish you health and good golf all year long.

The high seson is about to begin and maybe you will need to use the waiting list. Here is how it works.

 

This year, all leagues have a maximum players per event. For example, Men League maximum player is 60. On the calendar you will see something like 45/ 60 when 45 players registered, and the maximum is 60. Each time a new player signs in or signs out, number of registered players is adjusted.

When the maximum players for an event is reached, checking box is grayed and an asterisk (*) appears.

Click on * and you will be able to put your name on the waiting list. If you put your name on the list, * will become an @ and you are on the waiting list.

You can go on and out the waiting until the cut off, the day before the event ( 8:00AM for Women League, 12:00 for Couples League and  3:00PM for Men and Skins League). When a player signs out for this league event, every player on the waiting list for this event will then receive an email saying there is a spot available.

The empty spot will be taken by the first player who signs in in after receiving email. Players not fast enough to take the available spot will remain on the waiting list and have another chance to sign in if another spot becomes available.

Gringo Classic 2025 – Update

First, we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

We are assuming that January 2025 will have a  growing interest due to the deadline for registration for the tournament is 1 February 2025.

Gringo Classic 2025 – Update

A few people are asking, why is the collection for the Gringo very early this year? The goal of the Committee would like the support from the Members to have the majority of registers/paid in full by 2nd week of January 2025. So, the Committee can order the gifts and have them delivered in time for the event. However, saying this the deadline for registration is 1 February 2025.

Also having early registration provides an adequate budget plan. In the last few years, a person has purchased gifts and paid outstanding balance for the draft night bill out of his own personal funds. So the Committee had to hold a 50/50 draw during the event to raise funds to recoup funds for the person. This is not right that someone needs to be carried this burden.

This is why we are asking to register early this year.

1 January – 1 February 2025 Members and Guest.
Last day of registration 1 February 2025 or when we achieved 48 participants paid in full.
A waiting list will be created if necessary.

REFUNDS:
Before 2 February 2025 will be given.  After the deadline a refund will be made only if the player is replaced by another participant.
