Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, February 24th, 2021

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will be playing a two person team game using the Stableford scoring system. For team scoring purposes (please note that both players scores will count for the team score on all holes), any net bogie will count as 1 point, any net par will count as two points, any net birdie will count as 3 points, any net eagle will count as 4 points and any net double eagle will count as 6 points. Please record both gross and net scores for all players on all holes and provide team scoring summaries, using the Stableford scoring system described above, for the front 9, the back 9 and the total 18 hole score. Don’t forget to circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and please repair all divots.

Reminder Concerning Men’s League play policy – To follow, is a policy statement concerning men’s league play eligibility for any newly arriving members from the US or Canada. Please note that the policy has changed as a result of a vote that was taken by the Men’s league members on January 7th, 2021. Agreement was reached by the members that no newly arriving member would be permitted to play in any Men’s league event during the first seven days, after the completion of international or domestic air travel. We thank you for your understanding and support.

Good luck to all golfers!

Men’s Mixer – Wednesday, January 27th

Hola El Tigre Golfers,

This Wednesday we will really mix it up and play a two-person scramble event and just to make it a little more interesting, all teams will also be required to play from different tee boxes throughout the round. The tee box sequence that we will be using will consist of the following; hole 1 (red), hole 2 (gold), hole 3 (white), hole 4 (blue), and this pattern will repeat for the remaining 18 holes. Normal scramble rules will apply where each team player will tee off from the tee box and then each team will decide which ball they would like to play to the hole. Each player will then hit a second shot from the same place and this pattern will continue until the hole is finished. Only one score per hole per team will be required. Please include a summary team score for the front 9, the back 9 and the total 18 hole score. Don’t forget to circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard and please repair all divots.
