Men’s Mixer for Wednesday, April 25th, 2018

Hola Amigos,

The game for Wednesday April 25th will be a four person team Nassau (net) event 1-9, 10-18, and total 18. Each team will count 2 net  best balls on each hole. There will be three payouts; 1) overall 18 best score, 2) best score for 1-9, and 3) best score for 10-18.

As usual please fill all divots and repair all ball marks. I will be collecting your $100 pesos next Wednesday.

Men’s Mixer for Wednesday, April 18th, 2018

Hola Amigos

The game for next Wednesday will be the a 4 man team event (net) where we will count the 3BB on par 5’s, 2 BB on par 4’s, and 1BB on par 3’s. KP and DP as usual.

Jeff Gayle will be accepting your 100 peso contributions this week. Thank you Jeff.

Thank you all for keeping the course in good shape by filling in divots and repairing ball marks on the greens.

Men’s Mixer for Wednesday, April 11th, 2018

Hola Amigos,

The game for next Wednesday (April 11th) will be a 4 man Stableford event. Each team player will get one point for a net bogey, 2 points for a net par, 3 points for a net birdie, and 4 points for a net eagle.

Please remember to update your handicaps in the system after each round of play and as usual repair all divots and ball marks. The season is slowly winding down and I wish safe travels and a great summer to all players that are going back home.

Men’s Mixer for Wednesday, April 4th, 2018

Hola Amigos,

The game for next week will be the “Waltz”. The Waltz is the 1,2,3 game: Record 1 low net score on hole #1, Record the 2 low net scores on hole #2, Record the 3 low net scores on hole #3, and then back to recording the 1 low net score on hole #4, and so on……

Thanks for keeping the course in good shape by filling in divots and repairing ball marks on the greens.

Nice to see that folks are using the handicap system, and that the reminder email is working as it should. Thanks Gerard, Phil, Duane for their time working with the system. Special thanks to Myles for all of his efforts being our “El Capitan”, and for all of his efforts directed at ensuring a smooth golf event every Wednesday.

A few brief updates…..

  • Please make sure that you update your calendar every week by no later than 3:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon (the system cut-off time for the computer generated pairings) for the following day’s Men’s Mixer golfing event,
  • If you have a guest that you would like to have play with you for any of the Wednesday golfing events, please email me (markusgmelin@gmail.com), the name of your guest, prior to the cut-off time, and every effort will be made to have that player join your group,
  • As Myles mentioned last week to all of the players, please do not ask to be paired with any other members for the weekly Wednesday golf event, since this undermines the random computer generated team assignment process that we have in place. Thank you for your understanding!
  • The money collector for next Wednesday will be Don Sorochan…thank you Don!

I wish everyone a great Easter and I look forward to seeing everyone next Wednesday. For those of you travelling North, safe travels and we will see you next Fall.
