ElTigre Golfers,

Wednesdays game will be a 2-man Stableford (net) format. 1 point for net bogies, 2 points for net pars, 3 points for net birdies, and 4 points for net eagles. Players are encouraged to sign up before Tuesday 12PM (noon), to ensure a place on Wednesdays.

Thanks to Ross McDonald for collecting the peso’s this week. Thanks to all that are keeping the couese in great condition by filling divots and repairing ball marks on the greens. Pace of play has been good for so early in the season, congrat’s to all.

El Capitan

The Game for Wedneday, November 9th will be the Waltz. Holes 1-18 are divided into 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3 etc. This means on the #1 holes there is one best net ball scored, then on the #2 holes there is 2 best net balls scored, and so on… I think you get the drift.

Thanks to Phil and the crews for great opening day conditions, and to all golfers for keeping the pace of play, repairing ball marks, and filling divots. Also thanks to all golfers for using the computer generated sign up, and letting the Administration know of any problems.

I will be accepting your Peso’s again next week, as we forgot to nominate another golfer to do so.

Also, lift clean and place is in effect for the fairways in the morning rounds.

Welcome to the 2016-2017 ElTigre Men’s League which starts on Wednesday November 2nd at 9 AM. The first game of the season will be 2 best balls (net) of the foursome. As usual, the entry fee is 50 peso’s. I hope you are enthused with the condition of the course this season and will endeavor to keep it in prime condition by filling your divots, and repairing ball marks on the greens.

Just a reminder that Mens League sign up will close on Tuesday of each week at 3 PM for play on Wednesday. So for our game on November 2nd, signups will close at 3 pm on November 1st. Use the My Calendar link on the website menu to sign up.
