Hola, this week we will play as foursomes using two low nets, one from the ladies and one from the men. We’re teeing off at 10:00 and the cost is 100pesos per couple.

The game for next Wednesday will be the a 4 man team event (net) where we will count the 3BB on par 5’s, 2 BB on par 4’s, and 1BB on par 3’s. KP and DP as usual.

Jeff Gayle will be accepting your 100 peso contributions this week. Thank you Jeff.

As the league play season winds down at El Tigre, I’d like to ask everyone to please remember your password for next season. Write it down, put it on your calendar for November, or whatever works for you. I’d like the start-up of next season to go a little more smoothly than this past season. Thanks, and have a great summer.

The game for next Wednesday (April 11th) will be a 4 man Stableford event. Each team player will get one point for a net bogey, 2 points for a net par, 3 points for a net birdie, and 4 points for a net eagle.

Please remember to update your handicaps in the system after each round of play and as usual repair all divots and ball marks. The season is slowly winding down and I wish safe travels and a great summer to all players that are going back home.

When you click the My Handicap button on the main menu bar, you will see the My Handicap tab you’ve had since December, plus a new Handicaps and Scores tab.

My Handicap Tab

You should be familiar with this tab, where you post scores, view your recent scores, and find your handicap index and course handicap. What is new here is that we’ve added El Tigre League Handicaps for all the tees, in addition to your standard Course Handicaps. Because we allow players to compete from different tees in our leagues, handicaps must be adjusted for those who play from “nonstandard” tees (tees other than white for men and red for women). For an explanation of why and how this is done, please read Handicap Adjustments for El Tigre League Play.

Handicaps and Scores Tab

Three new capabilities here:

• View a player handicap, where you can view recent scores and handicap information for any player, just like you see for yourself on the My Handicap tab.
• Handicap list, where you can see a list of all men or women players’ course and league handicaps.
• Day scores on, where you can see a list of scores posted on any given date.
