Hola El Tigre Golfers,
This Wednesday we will be playing a four-person team scramble game where be will be playing from four different tee boxes and each team will need to count one gross score per hole. The sequence of tee boxes to be used will be as follows; on hole one all players will tee off from the red tees, on hole two players will tee off from the gold tees, on hole three players will tee off from the white tees and on hole four players will tee off from the blue tees. This pattern will be for all of the remaining holes. Each four-person team will also need to use a minimum of four drives (or tee shots) per player. Please record the “gross” team score for each hole and provide summary scores for the front 9, the back 9 and the total 18 hole score. Also, please circle all gross deuces (2’s) on your scorecard (and note the player that made the deuce putt for payout purposes) and remember to repair all divots.
Gringo Classic Update: Please review the post that was published yesterday from Alan Bayliss concerning the Gingo Classic event that will take place on February 16th and February 17th. Alan’s post provides an update concerning the format of the event and what you need to do to get registered to participate in the event. The normal Men’s League event scheduled for Wednesday, February 16th will be cancelled in lieu of the Gingo Classic and the calendar has been updated accordingly.
Reminder: Men’s League guidelines concerning unvaccinated players: The following agreement was reached by the Men’s League members: If you are unvaccinated, you need to let Markus know of your status by sending him a private email (markusgmelin@gmail.com) that will be kept confidential. For all other players, if you do not want to be paired with an unvaccinated player, you need to let Markus know of your request by sending him a private email that will also be kept confidential. Based on this information, Markus will be able to modify any of the computer-generated pairings to make sure that everyone’s wishes are honored. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Good luck to all players!
Markus
