Womens League

Get Ready: Ladies League Calendar Opens Friday at 5:00pm!

League play begins Friday November 14th and we have a great game

to kickoff the season!

We will be playing in four-person teams whereby each team will record one best ball net score for all Par 5’s, two best ball net scores for all Par 4’s, and 3 best ball net scores for all Par 3’s (watch this space for the full year’s lineup of games and events – coming soon).

New this year:
We will be using the golf cart screen to record our scores. All pairings and handicaps will be pre-loaded in the carts when you arrive (please be sure to update your handicap before the season commences). Using the screen will also allow us to follow along with the progress of the other groups through the “Leaderboard” function – which should make the competition even more lively,

Also new this year, each game’s teams will be fully randomized. This move should give everyone the best chance of meeting and playing with more people. 🙂

Thanks,
Lisa

How to sign up for Friday Ladies League

Sign into eltigreleagues.com

Choose my calendar

Click on the day you would like to sign up for

Sign up is available 28 days prior to the event at 5:00pm
We are allotted 44 spots so sign up earlier rather than waiting until a few days before the event. Sign up closes on the Thursday before the event at 8:00am.

If you signed up and can’t make it that week, PLEASE cancel through the system, (just click on the week to remove the check mark) no shows mess up all the pairings and have to be redone the morning of the event.

If you are new click on “Register” button in the login screen and follow the instructions.

Once an account is established go into “my handicap”
And enter your last 5 scores. This will create your handicap for the league and you will then be able to participate.

This may all sound a bit complicated but I assure you it is easy once everything is up and running.

Cheers,

Lisa

Ladies League 2025-2026

Hola Ladies,

The high season is upon us and the November start of the 2025/26 Ladies League is fast approaching. We begin on Friday, November 14th (9:00 AM shotgun start).
You can sign-up via eltigreleagues.com starting October 17th, (at 5:00 PM) through November 13th 8:00 AM. Be sure to get in early as we have just 44 spots and tons of interest coming off of last season.
Remember, there is a rolling four week window to sign-up for each weekly event (ex. for November 14th sign-up registration starts October 17th at 5:00PM).
With a tip of the golf visor to Rosalie Barnes, our league is in great shape and we are poised for a fantastic year. If I had one wish, it would be that we all try and make the league a really welcoming and nice place. A place where everyone can feel good about their game and good about belonging.
With that in mind, in all non-scramble formats, “gimmies” will again be the order of the day!
Can’t wait to see everyone out there!
Best,
Lisa Brown

El Tigre Members Northern Tour

Attention all El Tigre Members.

Discussions have been in the works for sometime now with Steve and a few others about having something that would bring our membership together in the summer/fall months.

The general idea is to have an opportunity to visit some of the areas where our members come from, alternating yearly between Canada and the USA, and having member/members from the area host the group for some fun, golf, and local site seeing.

We are trying to launch this idea this September in Kelowna BC, and have branded it “El Tigre Members northern tour”.

As you all know we have a very large contingent of members from Kelowna and area and as well Kelowna is known as one of Canadas premier tourist areas boasting mountains, lakes, wineries, as well as a golf mecca with over 40 golf courses within a 100 mile area.

The tentative date for this is slated for September 10-14.

The hopes are to have a Welcoming reception on the 10th, followed by 2-3 days of golf with some sort of game designed to involve individual as well as couples.

Between golf, plans will be made to take advantage of some of the Okanagans site seeing opportunities.

Final plans TBA,

At this point we are looking for participation numbers so we can look into hotel costs, golf costs etc.

Kindly email

alanbayliss@gmail.com by the end of April if you are interested in such a event, at which time we can finalize the details, as well if you have any suggestion please add them to your email.

Looking forward to hearing from as many of you as possible in the coming weeks.

Regards

Alan Bayliss
