Good Afternoon Ladies:

We have several announcements to make and they are as follows:

Those who have participated in the 2021/2022 Ringer Board, please be advised that your score cards must be updated and signed, then handed in by Saturday, February 26th to Vivian Heistad. Prizes will be disbursed on Friday, March 4th Ladies League Day.

The Torneo de Gemas (Tournament of Gems) is CLOSED. We have reached our maximum capacity of 40 players. Effective IMMEDIATELY anyone wishing to play must e-mail me directly with your request (DO NOT TRY TO REGISTER THROUGH THE LADIES LEAGUE WEBSITE) and you will be waitlisted in the order in which your request was received. Should be there be a cancellation, you will be notified of your registration and necessary details.

The format for this week will be 1-Lady Team. Net Score net per flight. Game is $50 pesos and the Skills is $20 pesos. Please be there for 9:15 a.m. for game information with a Shotgun start at 9:30 sharp.

The El Tigre Ladies League will be playing the Torneo de Gems (Tournament of Gems) on Friday, March 18, 2022 with a Shotgun Start at 9:00 a.m. You must sign up on the El Tigre Ladies League system on or before March 4th. Please do not forget to save your changes to your calendar.

Please also note for this day only it will be a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. and NOT the regular scheduled 9:30 a.m.

Further details regarding price, game format and any other relevant information will be forth coming in the near future.

I’m pleased to announcement we now have a Board to assist with the Ladies League and we hope to grow the game and provide games that can be enjoyed by the League. Effective immediately our new Board Members are: Pat Ennis, Diane Kirton, Leanne Parsons and myself, Rosalie Barnes. We look forward to advancing the game, fellowship and we welcome new and former golf members.

This is a reminder that the Ladies League golf game on Friday, February 11th will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Please arrive for 9:15 a.m. for game information. Game is $50 pesos and correct change is appreciated. There will be no KP or Skills this week.

On behalf of the Ladies League Board and it’s membership, and the entire El Tigre Golf and Country Club, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Rosa Gutierrez on her Hole-in-One last Friday on Hole #15. Well done Rosa.

And finally a reminder that Linda Alepin will be joining us this Friday and she will speak to her newly published book regarding women in leadership roles.
